My wonderful classmates

These are my wonderful classmates who went with me together to Perth in September 2008. They have provided me lots of wonderful and colorful memories to chew on.

Junie, Cherly and Jenny at the dinner table.
Wonderful Wayne with flower.
Portrait of Alfred.
Junie with a big smile.
The Zulu Chief, Alfred.
Alfred and the Golden Sand.
The Thinker, Hor Yee.
Second post of the Thinker, Hor Yee.

Please note that all these posts were not deliberately posted for my shots. They were all captured when the subjects were not aware. Except for two shots where Junie look at the camera and the one at the dinner table.

Hard work has paid off

Finally, the results were out without any hint. With all the hard works and struggling, sweet reward was returned.

Hope everyone from our group as well as other groups who went to Perth at the same time got the same sweet results too.

My Artistic Approach to Wild Flowers of Perth

During the stay in Perth, I took quite a number of shots with some concepts in mind, as I was planning to put up an exhibition to showcase my photographic works. These are some of the photos that I have taken for this purpose.

If you are an observant person, you may notice the texture on the leaves.
Take a closer look at these blooming flowers you would see the hairy characters in their petals.

These flowers were wild, they bloomed at the dividers along the route we travel everyday.

This is the close-up of them.

A macro shot on this yellow flower at Mr. Barry's Garden.

These beauties bloomed along the fence at the house where we stayed.

Kings Park and ceremony

We spent a day at Kings Park and witnessed the 21 guns salute to the heroes of Australia. We were very impressed of the Aussie Army performance. This was a very memorable visit.
